Christine Bjerke is an architect, writer and design tutor based in Copenhagen. She is the co-founder of the international think-tank In-Between Economies and she completed her MArch studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture University College London. Her interests focus on the intersections of the built environment, economic development, technology culture, design, and architecture. She teaches the Urbanism & Societal Change Masters Programme at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Schools of Architecture Design and Conservation. Her upcoming book FX Beauties (GSAPP, 2019), explores how social networks can disrupt conventions and how we can find power in them. She lectures and exhibits internationally.
