Conrad Hamilton is a postdoctoral research fellow at the School of Politics and International Relations at East China Normal University, a junior research fellow at the Center for Ecological Civilization, a member of the programming committee of the New Centre for Research & Practice, and editor of the International Journal of Cultural Studies. His research concerns the relationship between social agency and the value-form in the mature work of Karl Marx. He is co-author of Myth and Mayhem: A Leftist Critique of Jordan Peterson and Flowers for Marx, author of the forthcoming Marxism contra Subjectivity and The Contagion of Reality: Video Games Between Art and Politics, and editor of the forthcoming The Conscious Core of the Commodity: Essays on Real Abstraction.
