Michael Marder holds an M.A. in Political Philosophy granted by the University of York and a PhD in Philosophy from The New School for Social Research. He currently is the Ikerbasque Research Professor of Philosophy at the University of the Basque Country, Vitoria-Gasteiz. He has published and edited dozens of books exploring the phenomenological tradition of Continental philosophy and its points of contact with environmental thought and political philosophy.
