Swatee Sinha is a PhD Research Scholar at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences IIT, Kharagpur. My research interests span culture and critical theory with a particular focus on Deleuze and Guattari’s mobilization of desire as a determinant of critical agency. My Doctoral dissertation is situated at the interface of philosophy and literature and is an investigation of a Deleuzo-Guattarian philosophy of desire in the fictional works of Salman Rushdie. Swatee Sinha is also the recipient of a full scholarship on the Critical Philosophy Program at The New Centre for Research & Practice.
