Aanchal Saxena is a London-based Exhibition Designer and Art Manager. She is currently working with What About Art (@whataboutart.agency). After studying Architecture, Aanchal completed a course in Exhibition Design from NODE Centre for Curatorial Studies, Berlin, and worked as an Art Mediator at the 2018 Kochi-Muziris Biennale.

Since then, Aanchal has helped produce 10 exhibitions in 8 cities. Some of these projects have been collaborations with Rahul Mehrotra, Kaiwan Mehta (architects); Ranjit Hoskote, Nancy Adajania (curators); Bose Krishnamachari, Jitish Kallat and Gigi Scaria (artists); Samdani Art Foundation, Jamshyd & Pheroza Godrej Collection, Kochi Biennial Foundation and Soho House (organizations and collections).

Aanchal’s research interests pertain to intersections of art and architecture and are fueled by a long-standing curiosity for new media and technology. Love for films led Aanchal to curate screenings for Mumbai-based artist collective, Ikattha in 2019, and artist-run studio space, BaadalGhar, in 2022. She is also working with Chandraangan, an organic farm and art residency in Udaipur, to nominate young South-Asian artists for fully-funded residencies. She can now be found talking about art, films, and One Piece to anyone that will listen.
