Marina Simakova is an intellectual historian and writer whose work explores the relationship between ideas and ideologies. Her research sits at the intersection of Marxist thought, cultural history, and political writing. As a writer and editor, she has contributed to a range of journals and media platforms from e-flux to Le Grand Continent. As an educator, she has taught across diverse settings, from traditional colleges to experimental educational initiatives, such as Invisible University for Ukraine.
