Regis Alves has a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a Master's in Philosophy around Hegel's Science of Logic, both from the University of São Paulo in Brazil. His general research interests include the differences and similarities between idealist and materialist dialectics and the actualization of a post-Kantian ontology fueled by the consequences of post-structuralist thinking and theories of the subject arising from Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis.
