Andrei Chitu studied philosophy, history and theology at the University of Tübingen and University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne. Chitu researches alienation in online cultures as well as the subject of political education for the youth. He is preparing his PhD thesis on a possible link between Hegel’s Logic and a new conception of minimalism in the arts. In addition to Hegel, Chitu's interests is aligned with the tradition of critical theory, psychoanalysis and contemporary aesthetics. He co-translated Kojeve’s lectures on Hegel’s Phenomenology to Romanian.
